For now - I am absolutely adoring the latest of his RAK Studios live sessions, this time performing recent single 4AM. Fans of Bear's Den and Matthew & The Atlas will spot some familiar faces in Christof's backing band, an incredibly talented bunch who have created something really magical in this performance. WATCH: Pêtr Aleksänder - 'There, Before Me' (live from Old Jet)
Stressful day? Take four minutes to yourself and watch this. It's the second of a series of live videos from modern classical duo Pêtr Aleksänder filmed in Suffolk by cinematographer (and Tempesst drummer, no less) Andy Banjanin and the team at Really Bright Media. The setting for the videos is Old Jet, an ex-military base which has been given a new lease of life as an arts centre with rehearsal space, studios and storage facilities. This latest video features the track There, Before Me, which is taken from their upcoming debut album, and true to form is an incredibly peaceful tune. Keep an eye out for the rest of the live videos, and if you enjoy this, be sure to keep February 15th free as they'll be opening for Bess Atwell alongside Richard Walters in the beautiful surroundings of London's St Pancras Old Church (tickets for that here.)
